Accountant

The Opportunity

This part-time Accountant role (28-32 hours per week) offers genuine variety and the chance to build your commercial experience across the full breadth of finance activities. It's well suited to someone with a solid grounding in accounting who is looking to apply and develop those skills in an in-house commercial setting.

You'll get hands-on exposure to lease and asset management, forecasting, procurement support and financial reporting, working closely with a supportive finance team and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role within a supportive finance function, ideal for someone who wants breadth of experience and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lease & Asset Management: Take ownership of a leasing platform and provide lease reporting to support key facilities and asset decisions.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Help develop and maintain forecasting models, and support month-end and annual reporting processes.
• Business Support: Work alongside procurement and finance colleagues to support supplier relationships, audits and ad-hoc projects.

About You

You bring a solid accounting foundation and are keen to develop your commercial and operational finance experience. You're organised, comfortable working independently, and enjoy variety in your day-to-day work.

• Practical accounting experience, gained in industry, practice or a similar environment
• Strong Excel skills and a high level of computer literacy across the Microsoft suite
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and the confidence to work independently
